Labneh Dukkah Toast

Tired of your usual avocado toast for breakfast? Switch things up with this refreshing and dreamily delicious labneh & olive toast, topped with dukkah – an Egyptian and Middle Eastern inspired spice blend! Recipe made by our friend @skylarbryce ✨🫒

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • A slice of toasted bread
  • @cocojune_organic Lemon Dill or Original Labneh
  • Castelvetrano olives, chopped and tossed in olive oil and lemon juice
  • Parsley to top
  • A sprinkling of Dukkah, recipe below

For the Dukkah

  • 1 cup brazil nuts (can sub hazelnuts or pine nuts)
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp ground paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp salt

STEPS TO DELICIOUSNESS

1. Toast your slice of bread and top with a thick layer of cocojune Labneh and sliced olives.

2. While the bread is in the toaster, sautee the nuts and seeds. Let cool.

2. Pulse nuts, seeds, cumin and salt in a food processor until combined.

3. Sprinkle on your toast and enjoy this Labneh Dukkah Toast! Store extra dukkah in an airtight container.
